PUBLIC OPEN SPACE

Much of the public open space within the parish is owned by the Parish Council but is maintained by a group of dedicated local volunteers who are always glad of help at their monthly work days - for further details contact 'The Friends of Grain Coastal Park'.

To ensure that everyone can enjoy our lovely open spaces, no motorised vehicles are allowed on any Parish Council land.  Anyone who uses their vehicle on public open space does not have permission to do so and is liable to have their vehicle confiscated by the Police.   Notices have been displayed around the village and on the High Street Notice board - View the "Don't be a loser" Notice.  Please telephone Kent Police on 101 to report any incidents that you witness.

SPORT AND LEISURE

The Parish Council provides sports and leisure facilities at St James' Playing Field which includes a floodlit MUGA, play equipment for young children, outdoor fitness equipment for adults and a skateboard ramp.  These are all available free of charge.
